All about me
My name is Jeannie and I was born on 12 march 2003. I was born in Maidenbower near Crawley. To a small family with 2 dogs and my brothers and sisters. My mum was a lovely pussy cat I am quite a bit like her, in looks anyway. My father, well nobody is quite sure who he is !

When I was 6 weeks old I went to live with my new owners in Horsham, in a small but nice peaceful house. I was very shy when I arrived, I was sick in the car on the way there, and even did bit of a poo too.

I was very scared. But they stayed up late to try and make me feel comfortable. But I did cry a bit, even when my mouth was full of food, which made a funny noise. I stayed in the kitchen at night in my little house, where I felt safe.

After a few days I was up to mischief, exploring all over, although it was a few weeks before I managed the stairs. I had lots of nice toys, and from the very beginning forged a special relationship with Stuart Little. He is still my favourite today.

On my 6 month birthday, they took me to the vet again, but this time left me there all day. When I woke up I had a lamp shade on my head which was kept on for a week. (See Videos)
I was spayed !!!! I don't like boy cats anyway they bully me, so I don't mind.

As the summer approached it began to get very hot, and I was quite jealous of my owners going outside. Eventually they allowed me into the back garden after making it secure. (See videos)

I loved it outside and was amazed at all the things I found there. This is where I took a fancy to spiders, flies, wasps, well most insects really. And I got so excited when I saw one I made little noises like a dog.

A few weeks later I climbed up on the fence and saw there was more to the world. I went for it, it was frightening.

Later on I was allowed out, my only exit was through the front window, and I came in and out all day. As autumn approached It was too cold to use the window, and I made a right fuss. So, eventually, my owners installed some magical flaps for me.

One from the kitchen to the garage, where my luxury loo was moved, then another flap from the garage to the outside world.

I couldn't believe my luck, I could come and go as I please. Except at night, when my flaps don't work. I don't like the night anyway because that's when those big bully cats come out from up the road. I always make sure I'm home as it gets dark.

At the beginning of December, the funniest thing happened. My favourite sleeping chair was replaced by a tree! I had great fun whacking the dangly bits and beads on there. On Christmas day I got loads of lovely presents. A fishy thing on string which makes me go crazy was one thing. I also got a lovely new food dish from aunty Kate, nothing but the best for me!

Well I'll keep you updated on what's been happening in 2004 soon.

Jeannie
